Melanka Herbut has developed this theme in her specific way. Appreciation for neutrality of colour prompted her to occupy herself intensively with colour pigments and to work directly with this precursor of colour. The road to the materials that we find in nature was not so long. That is how the noticed chapter on "terra" composed from materials, colours and forms of soil, sand, stones, salt, wood and ashes with the original pigment colours.
